Describing a Moment in Time

I am working on elaborating on my writing to improve my paragraphs. I am working on being a L4 writer.



I enjoyed describing the Elephant picture because it reminds me every time my family and I go for walks.

Mothers Day Writing:

I enjoyed making this slide because its all about my Mum and today's Mothers Day and I wanted to describe my Mum about what she looks like,what she doesn't like,what she likes and what we do together.

MY IMAGINARY ANIMAL:THE TINKEY

I enjoyed describing a made up animal. I thought of the Tinkey. I described the Tinkey and added detail like where it lives, eats and what it looks like.

MURIWHENUA TANGA - The Tribes of Muriwhenua

WALT - research and collate information about the tribes of Muriwhenua.

I have been researching lots about the tribes' rohe, Pepeha, Waiata and where their names came from.  Have a look at my research by clicking on the slides.



I enjoyed doing this because I learnt so much stuff I didn't know about. What I found tricky was finding some of the information on the internet because there was a lot to read.

About World War history and learning about my family connection from WW1 and WW2.

I was learning about my family in the war and learning about stuff that I didn't even know.
I went for a family walk and all I was talking about was telling my Mum and Dad facts I learned that day.
For ANZAC my family and I are going to wake up at dawn to commemorate the soldiers who fought for the nation.

COVID-19 and My time in Lockdown

I've been following instruction of what I need to do from my Kaiako and been researching information about COVID-19.
I've worked out how to do transition on a google slide and putting the slides in the right order.I learned again how to do a EMBED a google slide.



REFLECTION:

What did I enjoy?
I enjoyed making the google slide putting and the slide on my blog.

What did I find tricky?
To put a google side on my blog and now I know how to do it again.

Dear Reader, 

In week 2 term 4 2018 my class and I went to the Auckland Zoo.We had a little class talk with a Zoo guider.We learnt about CHIPP it stands for 

Climate change.
Habitat loss.
Introduce pests. 
Poaching. 
Pollution.
Then we learned about a tiger subspeice called the Sumatran tiger that's almost extincted.😎😎        We went and created a google drawing about CHIPP and postered it on our blogs.😎😎

  The log floom!

The log floom was the best. Tai,Oscar,and I were on one log I was giving them a tor around it.(So here's the pixies king he stole all the gold from the other pixies!)Tai Oscar and I went four times on the log flown.It’s scary because when u go down a steep hill to end the ride u (somehow don’t have a sit belt,so u fall forward a bit and get splashed.)I had a fun time at the Jump,the zoo,and the pools.But RAINBOWS END!

2018 - Term 3 STEAM - ‘Coding and Arduino Boards’ Reflective Questions

1. What was I learning and why?

     I was learning how to make a LED light blink by using the arduino board and the bread

      board!

2. What did I do well and how do I know?

       The thing I liked the most is when Oscar and I  celebrated when the lights blinked.

3. What challenged me ……?

         The arduino board was really hard because you didn’t know what bar to put in.

4. What would I do differently next time to make my learning more successful …?

To actually sometimes read the instruction!!!!!!!  

5. What have I enjoyed about the learning?

         Working with my partner Oscar.And working on the beard and arduino board. Plus

        working with my Mum and DAD (The expert!)
